Posted on: 20 Oct, 2021
Pixel has always been one of the best phones on the market. But most of the popularity behind the goggle pixel was due to their amazing software experience, but not the hardware. With the introduction of more and more powerful hardware to other flagship models, software optimization was not enough anymore.
And then comes the Goggle Pixel 6. The phone offers the latest Tensor processor, 50MP main camera sensor, fast charging, 8 GIGs of Ram and so much more.
So, is pixel 6 worth the hype? Let us dive right into the google pixel 6 review and find out.
Design and display
Google has always made snappy designs when it comes to its pixel lineup. And this year, it is no different.
Instead of following the traditional side camera designs, they made a series of horizontal camera setup that looks and feel futuristic, while also offering a breath of fresh air. Due to this design, users will not feel any more bumps or rocking while it is placed on a table or any other flat surface.
The horizontal bar also looks aesthetically pleasing as it separates the two colors shades on the back of pixel 6. There are three main color options,
2. Sorta Seafoam.
3. Kinda Coral.
The phone also comes with a 6.4-inch OLED panel. The panel uses the latest technology to switch between 60 Hz to 90 Hz automatically, depending on your activity. The pixel 6 pro on the other hand goes up to 120 HZ.
The thing that always sets google pixel apart is their unparallel photo quality. Previously it was all done by Google awesome software optimization while using a single camera lens. But with pixel 6, you will get a 50MP main wide-angle lens, a 12 MP ultrawide angle lens. And the pixel 6 pro also has a telephoto lens in addition to the two lenses mentioned before.
With the optimization from googles software powered but the new tensor chipset and their amazing camera lens, we will be able to enjoy some of the best photo capture experiences possible on smartphones.
Another big upgrade that came to pixel 6 is their new tensor chipset. We are still waiting to see how it compares to the latest snapdragon 888.
The main goal of this tensor chipset was to enhance the AI system and utilize its power to make robocalls, transcribe, time estimation, and many other machine learning.
Battery life and charging
Tensor chip was designed in an architecture that promises excellent power efficiency. Combining that with a 4,614 mAh battery in pixel 6 and a 5003 mAh battery in the pixel 6 pro, you will easily get a full day of heavy use.
The phone also supports 30 watts fast wired charging and wireless charging of 21W.
Being the latest flagship phone on the market, there is still much more information and specifications to look into. But with what we can see, both the Pixel 6 and the pixel 6 pro are here to make an impact in the smartphone industry.
We also wanted to mention in this pixel 6 review that the phone is a bang for the buck. Now it is time for us to wait and see how the phone performance in our daily use.
