Posted on: 22 Nov, 2021

Windows 11 has been available from the start of October this year. Those who are already a user of the previous generation of Windows 10 is getting a free upgrade to Windows 11. But that being said, many users are still unsure about whether they want to stick to windows 10 or take chances with the new and improved OS that Microsoft is rolling out.

Keeping that in mind, we have come to you with a complete windows 11 review so you can decide on upgrading from windows 10 by yourself. So, without any further ado, let us dive right in.

Things we did not like about the windows 11

Every new OS on the market starts as a little buggy. And windows 11 is no different. The previous jump from windows 8 to windows 10 was massive. But in the case of Windows 11, the changes seem subtle. From what we can see, Windows 11 is more focused and leaning towards tablets and touch monitors.

Another noteworthy aspect of windows 11 is that it has a big requirement to run on your machine. With TPM 2.0 enabled, you also need a good enough CPU paired with your hardware to run the latest Microsoft OS. That means users with older computers will not be able to get automatic updates on the operating system.

Many of the reviewers online have also tested Windows 11 on older PC by manually overriding the system. But that did not offer satisfactory results.

Also, the new interface of Windows 11 might take a lot of time to get used to. This is true, especially for power users. The OS has some latency issues when paired up with a Ryzen CPU. But the recent update stated that the issue has been fixed and now Ryzen CPU can run the OS to its maximum potential.

What we liked about Windows 11

Despite certain downsides, there are many things t=to look forward to in this OS. For instance, the more consistent design, new and improved aesthetics is without a doubt an eye-pleaser.

Windows 11 also has excellent multi-monitor functionalities, which come in handy if you are using more than one monitor at the same time.

They also plan on offering support for android apps inside the OS without any emulator-based engine. Will be able to directly download a .apk file and sideload it on windows is still a mystery.

Cortana is no longer added by default which is also something we have noticed.

Overall Windows 11 seems like a promising operating system and upgrade from Windows 10. That being said, it still has quite a few expected bugs here and there. So if you want to have the cleanest experience with your computer, you can wait for a few more weeks until they have resolved all the noticeable issues. And if you are up for an adventure, then dive right in and get windows 11 on your computer today.
